Why your email list is more important than you think
Can I be real with you…. I made the biggest mistake (that I’m still working on fixing) when I first started my business.
Can you guess what it was?
I didn’t focus on growing my email list. UGH…
I wish I knew then when what I know now about how important growing an email list of the RIGHT buyers can be.
I was spending all my time growing a Facebook group instead of growing my email list.
Here’s the truth,,,, and you probably already know, you don’t own your social media following, what you own is your email list.
Growing your email list is one of the most important things you can do as you grow your business.
You don’t own the other platforms, they can pull the plug at any time and you won’t have a way to connect with them.
You can’t control who sees your stuff. Algorithms are constantly changing
You have to be on there 24/7, interacting and being super active. (who has time for that??)
When you focus on email lists you’re able to communicate with your audience all at once,
It’s the fastest and easiest way to get your message out there and know they will see it. You can target or segment your audience into groups speaking to specific people.
