Love this duo!

Listen, these girls have some stories! They are smart, honest, present, interesting and relatable. You don’t need to be sober to love this podcast, btw! :) They have a lot to say in their episodes. The stories go deep beyond rehashing stories from their drinking days (which are fun to hear) they also go into the complexities of their families, loss, philosophies, their friendships, husbands, and how they have bounced back together from those old days. I particularly enjoy hearing about their family dynamics. I’m not sober but I keep my drinking in check - big time - because I have a lot of similar stories as these girls from my high school and college days (and post (post) college). It’s a struggle I deal with everyday and I just respect everything these girls have been through and how much they continue to grow.

Now, I’m a mom with two boys and a great husband. I’m now in a different world — and I am someone who loathes the mommy needs wine culture and do my best to steer clear of that. I’m super passionate about focusing on much more realistic ways to cope care for yourself. Therefore the conversations between BK and LK is refreshing! Super proud of these Philly girls!

My Opinion

This podcast is basically two girls who just talk about nothing. It’s like they are just having a casual conversation with each other, and your the third wheel who is left out. They laugh about stuff you have no idea what’s even funny about it. Only about 10% of what they talk about is about sobriety.
