September 9, 2020: Update from Dr. Robert Strang
Nova Scotia has three active cases of COVID-19. No new cases were identified yesterday, when the labs completed 801 NS tests.
Dr. Strang provides a #COVID19NS update today.
The list of symptoms being screened for #COVID19 was recently updated to reflect the epidemiology in Nova Scotia. Visit https://811.novascotia.ca to determine if you should call 811 for further assessment.
Nova Scotia has 81,092 negative test results, 1,086 positives, 65 deaths and 1,018 cases of #COVID19 are now resolved. No one is currently in hospital. For the latest data, visit www.novascotia.ca/coronavirus/data. -

Dr. Robert Strang, Nova Scotia's chief medical officer of health, provides #COVID19NS update for Friday, July 31, 2020.
Nova Scotia has two active cases of COVID-19. Two new cases were identified Thursday.
The new cases are in the Central Zone and are Nova Scotians who travelled outside Canada. The people have been in self-isolation since returning to the province, as required.
The QEII microbiology lab completed 456 NS tests July 30. NS has 63,647 negative test results, 1,069 positive cases and 64 deaths and 1,003 resolved cases. https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/data/ -
