Here’s what no one tells you about creating a meaningful life and career: it’s never as straightforward as it seems.

A great life means following the breadcrumbs of what you love, staying curious, and being willing to fail, looking a little flaky, and staying true to yourself -- even when it all feels a little bit scary.

Because when you’re brave enough to let go of old dreams and what’s no longer aligned, you make room for something even better.

High functioning anxiety and the power of a pivot with Alyssa Cotten

High functioning anxiety and the power of a pivot with Alyssa Cotten

Join Stacie as she interviews Alyssa Cotten, who pivoted from being a business/finance undergrad to becoming a mental health counselor in what she thought was her “dream job” to then becoming her own boss – where she combined her business degree with her counseling degree to create her own private practice.
In 2020, the pandemic hit, and she then pivoted yet again. She didn’t have ANY social media for a decade up to this point, but she started her online business in 2020 and went all in on creating an online presence on Instagram and YouTube.
We also talk about high functioning anxiety, what it looks like, how it can keep you from creating your most meaningful work and life – and how to begin to heal it.

Woods Life Coaching ,

Always helpful & encouraging

I devour Stacie’s material. Her weekly podcast are down to earth, insightful, and encouraging. I honestly listen every week and get something helpful out of each one.

Emma Liz- Health Coach ,

a MUST listen for coaches

I’ve been working with Stacie for about 6 months now, and it’s been a transformative experience. Today I found myself in an imposter syndrome rut, and decided to listen to her podcast with Laura Dunn in growing from zero (can’t remember the full podcast name lol but it was a really good one).
Listening to this podcast today was SO affirming. It reminded me that the thoughts I tell myself really matter, especially the ones that aren’t true, which usually is connected to imposter syndrome. I had such a cool realization too, realizing I have more of an innate entrepreneurial spirit than I’ve recognized in myself. Stacie and Laura talking about the idea of “if something doesn’t work, try it again” being a key part of business really hit me, because in life, when I want something to work, whether it’s at my current full time job, relationships, or trying to fix something myself, I’m someone who does not like to give up or quit. And I’ll usually make it happen too haha. For some reason, it’s been scary for me to apply this part of myself to my business. But I’m beginning to unlearn my limiting beliefs around business, and realizing it’s not as intimidating as I make it :)

Learning from diverse guests ,

Finally! A podcast addressing this perfectly

I am an entrepreneur and this speaks to me
So much. Def will be the top of my listen list each time a new episode comes out. Love it!
