Black and Bipolar: Girl get your Shift together Special guest: Ursala Berger

Black and Bipolar: Girl get your Shift together Special guest: Ursala Berger

    Hello Friends and Family!

I wanted to start by saying this episode is actually old just during the time I recorded it I forgot to upload it. In my mind, this episode has been playing and everyone has enjoyed it however that is not the case!

I want to apologize to my guests and viewers for not being more on top of it.

This episode highlights how we shift our thinking and how we navigate the world. Being Bipolar is always something hard to manage, being Black and a woman is also hard to manage in itself while you try to navigate the world that does not love you back correctly.

I encourage all my listeners to think about what has been a pain point in their lives. Are you managing or are just slowly crumbling? Are you asking for help or are you just trying to push through?

Good voice

It’s good to listen to a podcast about bipolar that’s not coming from a white person. Boundaries ep 👏👏. A good reminder that we are all individuals. Not all people with bipolar are the same. Not all Black people are the same.

Couldn’t Come at a Better Time

A friend on twitter dm’d a link to this pod and i’ve been listening ever since! Toni is cute, funny and relatable. After a bp2 diagnosis a few months ago being able to listen to Black and Bipolar Pod makes it feel like I’m having a converse with someone like me.

feedback: I had a really hard time find the social media pages for this podcast. A facebook and instagram were mentioned in the last episode I listened to but googling “black and bipolar podcast” surprisingly brings up a lot of unrelated things.

plugging the name of the @ for the accounts socials I think will help make this more accessible!

for anyone wondering @blackandbipolarpod is the name of the facebook and instagram. twitter is @blackbipolarpod
