001 Answering Five Key Questions about Returning Workers during the Pandemic
In this episode, attorney Michael Schmidt offers key questions for managers to consider before they commit to re-opening the business and bringing workers back to the workplace? Who is going to be returning, the entire workforce or a subset of workers? What physical modifications to the workplace are necessary? What policies and rules must change? This week’s guest is Michael Schmidt, the vice chair of the Labor and Employment Department at Cozen O’Connor.
He teaches Employment Law at Touro Law School in Central Islip, New York. He is also a prolific blogger and podcaster at Employment Law Now where he has published a series of compelling reports about the ever-changing regulatory landscape pertaining to COVID-19 in the workplace.
