Somebody somewhere said that therapy is for people who are crazy. Somebody somewhere said if you are a black woman you’re either angry, broken or a gold digger. We as black women think we’re Super and no shade we’re pretty bad ass but we have to know that the S we tote around on our chest can also mean Safe, Self-Confident, Submissive, Sensitive, Supportive and Secure. Even Superwoman Needs Therapy is about having real convo about how to not work so hard pretending to keep your shit together that you fall apart.

Customer Reviews
This is a real talk podcast.
I stumbled onto this podcast almost by accident and I am really glad I did. The host, JuNene, creates a feel like you’re talking to a real friend and learning how she is handling the world we find ourselves in. I think the podcast landscape could use a few more shows like this one.
