Why I’m Not Longer Teaching My Kids to Be Humble
Have you noticed in our society, humility is often praised and celebrated? Like, we are actually told to downplay what we’re good at! Yeah, no...I'm not for that!
What if we were to change the narrative and start embracing the celebration of our accomplishments? I had a moment recently that shifted my perspective on how I raise my girls. It all started with Reagan coming into the kitchen and telling me she was really good at basketball, and that made me question this whole idea of teaching our kids to be humble.

Doesn’t it suck when imposter syndrome kicks in and you have those moments that flood in out of absolutely nowhere that make you feel like complete shit?
You know, those thoughts of, “Who am I to do this?” “I don’t know enough to teach this.” “There are people who are so much better than me.” It’s something every single one of us experiences, and it’s unfortunately something none of us are immune to, no matter what level you are at in your business.

This was exactly what I needed to hear today. So many gems in 19 mins but what stuck out to me the most was your advice about not following or consuming the content of the coaches doing the same thing as me. It was the reminder I needed that one: I’ve got this. What I know and have to say will change someone’s life. Period. I don’t have to read every piece of content from others.
