Super interesting!
Really enjoyed this podcast, I can’t wait to hear more. Having grown up in the Bay Area, I’ve heard a lot about different pieces of history he mentions, but this podcast really ties it all together while being very engaging and entertaining.
Terrific Podcast
Langdon does a wonderful job of storytelling. Not only does he challenge the conventional wisdom of the history of settling San Francisco, he focuses on very human details that bring history to life.
Review of Savage West
A terrific piece of storytelling. I am finding the series absorbing despite having read a fair amount of related history. The author expertly weaves the results of his diverse reading into an intelligible and compelling whole.
