Latin America and socioeconomic inclusion, Adriana Rueda Barrios
Adriana Rueda Barrios is a project officer at the Trust for the Americas which is a non-profit, non-government organisation that promotes economic and educational opportunities for vulnerable people in the Americas. As well as working on socioeconomic inclusion, Adriana has lived experience of the transformative power of education as the first person in her family to go to university.
Adriana is interested in gender and socioeconomic inclusion and LGBTQIA+ advocacy as a queer woman from Colombia who has experienced social mobility and who personally understands the relevance of recognising intersectionality in diversity and inclusion policy. -
