They were green lit for a second season and boy are they excited to be back! One name change later and now Alex can drag whichever friend she wants onto this absurd show. This season you, dear listener, will get to know the new co-host Ethan! They have known each other for a while now so it's about time they proved their friendship bonds through arguing over TV for the whole wide world.
On this Re-Pilot, Alex told Ethan to watch cult classic musical Galavant (2015) while Ethan demanded Alex watch Amazon Prime's Fleabag (2016). Will they love it? Will they hate it? Will they actually argue about anything? Only one way to find out!

On Episode 2 of our podcast Alex and Ethan blow dust off covers to witness some book adaptations come to life. Alex, in a cheap shot right in the beginning, tricks Ethan into watch Midnight Texas (2017). Ethan is trying to do Alex a solid (but maybe forgot she is loathed to enjoy super hero media) by having her watch Doom Patrol (2019). On Episode 4 of our podcast Alex and Ethan put on their pajamas, grab their favorite stuffed animal, and add a splash of whiskey to their cereal as they tackle these "Adult" cartoons. Not that kind of adult, you pervs! Just, like, you know. Stuff that would play on Adult Swim. And did play on Adult Swim! We all know Alex has some weird cult-tv show tastes and she really let it shine in today's episode. Ethan was tasked to watch Frisky Dingo AND Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law because, frankly, they were too short to watch individually. Alex was told to (in what was meant to be an act of good faith) watch Harley Quinn. She, um, well. Has thoughts. But doesn't she always?

On Episode 5 of our podcast Alex and Ethan dip their toes into the Comedy waters. There really isn't much of a theme besides that. Ethan was bullied into watching an Office clone (because of course Alex suggested an Office clone) called Borderline. Alex was pointed towards Dollface. In a continuing running theme this season Alex has some beef. Prepare for some feminist perspectives and listen as you can literally hear her temple throb.

On Episode 6 of our podcast Alex and Ethan do their first Self Pick episode! Aw dip, they just can't keep away from comics made for the scree. Although the comics have different vibes, somehow Archie manages to flirt with being a crime drama. Ethan has been meaning to watch Stumptown (created by Greg Rucka) which, frankly, is as on brand as you can get with the guy. Alex has heard that Riverdale (you know, that place Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead live?) is one hell of a roller coaster. Story checks out that she would need to watch it.
