    Story Time Pt.2: “You Don’t Have To Stay…”

    This topic was one that i believed was/is needed in this day in age; moving on. This portion of my life came from the navigation of my life without ADHD medication. finding where i fit in and where i shined: the fitness industry. Years of doing shows, posing for hours on hours, and dedicating my life to a 24/7 diet because it gave me structure. Having that be what got my foot into so many doors, but after years of uncovering myself, realizing i knew nothing about myself. If i didn’t have bodybuilding, i was NOTHING. If i wasn’t lean at all times, i want good enough in my eyes. What started as something that made me whole, grew into something that made me empty. Staying there, you guys would not be getting ANY of what you guys get from me now. If you are waiting patiently for things to clear up and feel good again, you’ve tried and tried, adjusted, and this goes for anything in your life, you don’t have to stay where you have either outgrown or find it takes more from your well being than it serves.

    26. Please…Stop Doing This. You’re Hurting More Than Helping.

    i’m sure we have all heard: “someone would wish for your worst day!”, “there someone out there with this type of condition, you don’t have excuses!”, or a very common one: “you think YOU hit it bad? Listen to this…” It is the most confusing thing to me. Because you won’t ever know anyone else’s reality other than your own. NO ONE ELSE’S. Don’t speak on another life or compare yours to someone else’s when what you are going through is by definition for YOU; painful, a struggle, an obstacle, a trauma, an issue, etc. We’ve gotten so use to using this tactic to “motivate” and all its doing is hurting more than anything.

    This episode is special to me. Getting my close friend/mentor/and role model on this podcast is a full circle. Bryan and i go back a few years and the journey we have both taken to get to this specific point in our lives has been a journey that deserves to be shared. I was on his podcast “Evolve U”on Apple and Spotify and he had interviewed me back in early 2020 when Forgotten Mindset had truly begun to transition into what you see today. Now although we don’t get into the specifics, we express the direct changes we’ve made over the years to become who we have today with the quality and flow of life that we have.     22. This Is Not The Motive You Want…

    We hear it so much and the narrative hasn’t changed: “prove all the people who doubted you wrong!” I have to be the one to at least acknowledge something different. Those who put a ceiling or false limitations on you are ALWAYS speaking on THEIR level of beliefs and limitations on themselves. You using them as a motive to chase YOUR goals and live YOUR life has already made them win. Do what you want for YOU because the fulfillment is not there at the end of shutting a couple people up. Where there’s one, there’s 5 more. There is no escaping it. Let them be, and live for you, and give back however you can. I know it’s not as dramatic as having that motive but that’s a life lived for the wrong people.
