Glad to know more about Bob, but ...

The name of this podcast series should not lead you to believe that it is a deep dive on the murder and the problem side of Bob Crane. It is not. Happy I listened and found out a lot more about who Bob Crane really was, earlier and later in his career. I had no idea about his radio work before television, and it was really interesting and amusing to listen to. The hosts make clear what their objective is, and they fulfill it well. However, and I am apologetic that there does have to be a 'however', this podcast listens as if it is 80% both hosts explaining and defending what *they* are doing, and 20% Bob Crane. I have no idea what the actual percentage is, but that is the way it comes across. Much time is more about themselves than Bob. There is some general information about the unfortunate habits that probably got Bob into trouble in the last year of his life. There is very little hard information about his murder, or the who-done-it question. Fair enough, the hosts are clear that they do not intend to pursue this angle. I don't have a problem with that. Several episodes are spent reviewing and pointing out the errors and flaws of other documentaries and projects about Bob Crane. Also fair enough, it needs to be done. Interesting for what it is, but very very long and very self-involved for the point the hosts want to make with the podcast series.
Excellent Podcast

Listening to these testimonials, it's no wonder that Hogan's Heroes remains a much-loved series from the era of classic TV.

This is definitely one step forward in showing society just exactly who the real Bob Crane was. I’m so glad someone is finally promoting the facts and not these awful Hollywood gossips that continue to rule the media. If you love Bob Crane and interested in learning who he really was, I highly recommend this podcast! Truly a win right here! ❤️
