Welcome to the Online Store Success Podcast.
If you are determined to create, launch and scale your fashion, lifestyle or beauty product online (without the expensive pitfalls), this podcast is for you.
I’m your host, Jodie Minto. I'm an award-winning 7-figure fashion founder, e-commerce business coach, certified digital marketer, and meta ads specialist. I’m also a mum of two teens and two fur babies and live on the sunny Central Coast of NSW.
I started my online fashion store from scratch while working full time, juggling young kids and living in the Middle East. I scaled that business to a 7-figure online brand before selling it last year.
This show is dedicated to showing you how I did it and how you can, too. Hit subscribe now, and let’s dive in.

78. Stepping into the CEO role in your business
When starting your own business, you have to do everything. You are the customer service team, the marketing department, the product development team, and the leadership team.
You are the Chief Everything Officer—or the business gopher. If it’s got to be done, it’s you doing it.
However, as your business starts to grow, you will find that you just can’t operate at that level anymore, and you will increasingly start to ‘drop the ball’, feel resentful toward your business, and toe the line with burnout.
If you feel like one more task or responsibility might make you implode, today’s episode is for you.
Stepping into a leadership position in your business, though, takes new skills. Skills that can feel super uncomfortable, like managing people, increasing your monthly expenses, handing over control…
If you and your business are ready to step up and start playing bigger, then today’s episode is for you. Today, I will show you how you can start stepping into the CEO role of your business and stop doing absolutely everything.
If you are ready to fully step into the CEO role of your business now that sales have grown and would like support in doing so with me in your corner, I’m excited to let you know that applications for my mastermind are now open.

77. Building a successful multi-six figure business with one hero product with Louise Carter from Baby Luno
On today's episode of Online Store Success, I chat with Louise Carter, the owner of Baby Luno, who shares her incredible journey of building a multi-six-figure business with a single hero product.
Louise began by reselling other brands’ baby products but found her true success by developing her own Nordic Foot Muff Pram Liners. Inspired by her Swedish background and driven by her own experiences as a mum, Louise created a uniquely designed foot muff suited to Australian climates.
Louise credits her success to a combination of her background in online marketing and the support she received from my eCommerce Academy (thank you, Louise!).
Her favourite part of running her business is developing new designs and seeing her products out in the wild. Louise advises aspiring entrepreneurs to keep innovating and leveraging online marketing strategies.

A podcast for product brands ready to scale!
I love the content Jodie covers on her podcast! Topics like how to stand out in your own way, motivation to keep you going and the ins and outs of running ads for your biz! This is becoming a favorite podcast for me!
Finally!
It’s shockingly hard to find a podcast about starting a small business that actually shares helpful information. Most business podcasts have only fluff - and then they tell you that you have to buy their course to hear anything of substance. Jodie does have courses available BUT she doesn’t let that stop her from sharing a lot of valuable information on her podcast as well. She has a lot of experience, passion and great tips. She’s easy to listen to as well. I’m in the middle of starting a small business and it’s helpful to have her episodes to listen to. Motivating.
