First OChem Test is almost here!
I stumbled upon this little gem of an episode while I was gathering ways to study for my dreaded second OChem exam on Isomers, chirality, R & S configuration, chair conformations and more. I study and go to lecture so it was cool to listen to the host explain the different topics and I actually know what she’s talking about, and visualize the compound. You will learn to see only wedges and dashes.
Her little tricks, the way the S is drawn vs. R (for counter clockwise and clock wise) stuck in my head. So was the whole siblings fighting thing. My family for sure can relate. I can’t forget CIS and cizzzle! And that’s like cracking with energy babeee. Omg, I know, kinda geeking out here, but these things help make room in head when it comes to exams!
I’d like to include that I sing Cardi B “Up” when I draw chair conformations axial up and equatorial up, “When it’s up, then it’s up, if it’s up then it’s stuck”. Cardi does love a good chair. Ok, that’s it. Nerd time over and out.
