This week our hosts sit down with Officer Rick.  He is a military veteran who served in Iraq and has been with us for 21 years.   He has been in patrol, SWAT, CIB - Crimes Against Children, and now serves as our Grand Jury liaison.   He has double-digit years of experience as a patrol officer and detective.   

He has been around the block a time or two, always has a smile on his face, and is willing to help anyone.  He's such a handsome man that he has been mistaken for a "special entertainer" when he was dispatched to address loud party calls.   Let's dig into it!

This week our hosts sit down with Sergeant Marcos.  He has taken quite a journey to get to us. 

He was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil.  He was in the Brazilian military, Brazilian police force, then worked in the IT field.  Work brought him to Canada, then to the US  (Texas) where he continued to work in IT.  His desire to serve again brought him to Alaska as a police officer and where he tried not to freeze in -30 degree weather.  He then gained his US citizenship and came back to Texas as a LEO where he later became a SWAT officer.   He transferred to GPPD as an officer and was later promoted to Sergeant.  He now leads our Criminal Intelligence Unit and Drone Unit and has been with us for over 8 years.  He has 17 years’ experience in law enforcement. 

He is too smart for his own good.....and loves some Picanha Churrasco so he is OK in our book!  Let's dig into it!

Yes, this is the third Daniel we have interviewed.....don't worry we've got even more Daniels to eventually interview!  (This) Officer Daniel is from New York and started with no prior law enforcement experience.  He has been on patrol, was a Field Training Officer, is currently a Drone Pilot (UAS pilot), and is currently assigned as a detective in our Auto Theft Unit.  Even though he likes the Buffalo Bills….we still claim him.   Let's dig into it!

This week we sit down with Officer Shyrle (SHUR-LEE).  She is a lateral from a large agency from the Cali bay area.  She has been a cop for over 10 years now.  Before she came to GPPD, she left the station, took the city bus to her spot, and was an old school foot beat officer....patrolling on foot in her comfy Michael Jordan shoes....aka Js.  She comes from a family of law enforcement and likes it here so much, she is even moving her parents soon to Texas!  Let's dig into it.....

This week we sit down with Officer Jeff.  He is lateral from Washington and has been a cop for about 8 years.  He came to GPPD a year ago and is going to have his first born Texan kid soon!   He is an advocate of jiu-jitsu for cops and we can't agree more!  Someone needs to show this man a proper Texas welcome and take him hog hunting!  Lets dig into it!

This week we sit down with Officer Kyle.  He is from DFW but worked in Oklahoma as a cop for a while before coming to GPPD.  He is an Army veteran and plays soccer (although his teenage son is much better than him).  When he is not continually injuring himself playing soccer he is the Training Coordinator for GPPD and also in charge of our Fitness programs.  He has served an an FTO, SWAT Team member, and Traffic Motor Officer since being at GPPD.  Word is you do NOT want to leave your car computer unsecured when he is around.....let’s dig into it!
