Acknowledge the ripple effect.  The result of thriving together will impact those around you to engage in healthier relationships and collaborate with one another in the ways that you’ve modeled.

About Sara:
I have been an Air Force Reserve spouse for almost 10 years and have had the honor of supporting my husband and his squadron through 4 deployments so far. We have 2 wonderful children a 6 year old son and a very spirited 2 year old daughter. I serve as Wing Key Spouse Mentor, Reserve Spouse Mentor with MSAN and my son's Cub Scout leader on top of being a mom and wife.

Reserve families are a gift to our military community.  They are the continuity we need and yet their families still face challenges of deployment, reintegration and needing support.

 MMD Advice from Sara: Ask for help!  We all need different levels of support in each season.  Also, don't say “I’m just a military spouse”. You are valuable. Finally, ACCEPT the help.  We may be helpers, but helpers need to receive help too.

She has a heart for service families looking to bring a little Disney Magic into their lives.  We are sharing the behind the scenes of how this idea was two years in the making and how you can start your planning to visit the happiest place on earth.  
 
Danielle is a military spouse of 7 years and mother of 2.  A few years ago, after her first child was born, Danielle and her husband decided she would walk away from teaching Special Education for a bit to stay at home and provide stability while he travels.  She had a deep longing to continue to provide for her family and took her love of all things Disney and became a travel planner.  Having worked at Disney for a few years, she now loves being able to help families, especially those within our community, plan amazing vacations and create lasting memories together.
