Amazing! Expectations were exceeded ten fold
My sister just shared this podcast with me on Tuesday when the spooky episode came out. She shared it with me because she was the guest on the show! Now, I’ve listened to a truck load of podcasts so I have high standards when it comes to a good podcast. I’m not kidding, I’ve listened to thousands of podcast episodes and over probably 100 different shows. I’m also not estranged from critiquing someone’s work as I have come from art school where we brutally critique our/ our classmates art pieces so I’m honest about this stuff. When my sister shared the podcast she was going to be in I didn’t expect it to be so professional. I expected the whole “garage band with your friends” type thing but a podcast version. I’m sure that the sound quality will increase as the podcast grows however, the sound was not terrible. In fact, the sound was better than some early episodes of pods that are quite popular now. The best part of the podcast was the content. Ashlyn’s ability to run a very heavy with content session that is not overwhelmingly long was fantastic. They covered to many things without the podcast feeling like it was dragging on. The topics that they spoke about flowed nicely as a conversation would rather than an interview question/answer format. I love how the personalities of the participants in the show get to shine (and I know this because the guest was my sister who I know well lol) and be themselves in an open minded, relaxing environment. It is great to hear people have fun while talking about inspiring topics because that spreads so much joy and makes the episode even more inspiring. Keep up the great work Ashlyn! I will be subscribing and continuing to listen! I look forward to seeing your development as a podcast host! If I could leave more than 5 stars I would! 😄
