HIST 103: History of the United States I

History of persons and events that have contributed to the American way of life. Topics include settlement of the new continent, the American Revolution, construction of a constitution and government, and the development of an economic system. Problems of reconciling differences among various groups are considered in relation to the Civil War. The podcasts are pre-recorded audio segments about the week's material. They are about 25 minutes apiece. One to two podcasts are usually uploaded a week during the semester.
