Amazing teacher and series

Halle is one of the most welcoming teachers I’ve ever practiced with. She is accessible and welcoming to all. Her voice is strong yet grounding, familiar and refreshing- and to me voice and presentation is so important in a podcast. Whether you’re looking to later into an already existing practice or start fresh working with Halle will be positive new light in your life!
Accessible Yoga Practice

I am still new to yoga, and a lot of instructors and in-person classes can be intimidating to a newcomer. That’s why I really love Home Practice with Halle—this truly is an accessible practice for each and every person. I’ve never felt intimidated while listening. If anything, I feel empowered and challenged to try more. And is there anything better than practicing at home? This podcast gives me the confidence and ability to build my at-home practice.
Practical + accessible exercises for your mind and body

I look forward to Home Practice With Halle every week - and I also practice regularly in a studio. This podcast offers something I don't find there. Each of these episodes are completely accessible—whether it’s your first time stepping onto the mat (or towel, or carpet, or tile floor, or or or) or you’ve been practicing for years, there’s something fresh and poignant waiting for you, every time you tune in. And I love how PRACTICAL each of Halle’s episodes are — in one episode you’ll learn a simple breathing technique to calm anxiety, and in another she’ll walk you through a few exercises to release pain in your wrists and lower back. My favorite episode so far has focused on a journaling practice that guides you through identifying elements of your everyday routine that leave you feeling both energized + completely emotionally drained. By the time you have your list in front of you and are like “OH GOD WHAT AM I GONNA DO ABOUT MY MESSED UP LIFE,” she tenderly guides you through an action plan to start shedding the layers that weigh you down + how to begin making deliberate space for the things that make you feel like your most free, best self. I’m not trying to be dramatic but I literally cried listening to this one — she invites a few friends to anonymously read their lists and I just felt so seen and understood. But the very best part is that ^^all of this is^^ is delivered through Halle’s incredibly compassionate, sincere, and playful voice. You can literally hear her smiling while she talks to you about this stuff - that’s how you know it’s the real deal.
Amazing!

I have been listening to Halle’s podcasts every week, and I am continually amazed that she can explain detailed information and give instruction in a way that anyone can follow, even without seeing her. I have RA, and I have found that many of the podcasts are especially beneficial to those living with chronic pain who may have reduced mobility, especially the savasana and breath episodes. I have already practiced. She is clearly a skilled speaker and yoga teacher who also knows how to use a little humor to her advantage.
