Jesus fulfills Israel's vocation perfectly: in contrast to those who had once provoked God during forty years in the desert, Christ reveals himself as God's Servant, totally obedient to the divine will. In this, Jesus is the devil's conqueror: he "binds the strong man" to take back his plunder. Jesus' victory over the tempter in the desert anticipates victory at the Passion, the supreme act of obedience of his filial love for the Father.Priscilla Shirer, writer.

Really enjoy this podcast

I have always noticed in the church bulletin the “walking with purpose” groups- but due to life, just wasn’t able to make it to any of the times it was offered. When I saw this podcast available, I felt inclined to subscribe to it and have really enjoyed it. I love the journaling the hosts assign to you; really love that the hosts are also around the same age as myself; makes me feel like I am not “behind” on anything- right where I am supposed to be

Joedajew ,

Women’s group

We are listening to this podcast in a small women’s group at our church. It has been a great experience of calling us deeper into a relationship with the Lord and into our Catholic Faith. Each week brings us so much to consider, pray about and help us in our everyday life.
