Magneto is back and making with the crazy eyes at Sue, Reed, Namor, and the rest of New York! Will he use the minerals in Thing’s butt to hurl him through the cosmos? House of X Book Club Episode 38 - Humanity has NEVER Faced a Deadlier Disaster than PODSDAY!!!
Welcome Children of the Atom, to the penultimate episode of the first AGE OF X!!! We are going to look at two issues of X-Men that contain some awesome characters as well as some questionable choices, X-Men 63 and 64!
First up, more action in the Land that is Savage, with Ka-Zar and Zabu! Fun fact the Sade song from 1985 was originally titled ”Sweetest Zabu!” Not really. I just made that up. BUT! He is in this book, along with all of the oddest teens of all!
Next up is X-Men 64, with the blazing hot Sunfire joining the lexicon! A complicated back story? Check! Anguished teenager? Check! Bossy Father figures? Check! Something tells me he’s going to be around for quite some time! After he gets out of prison of course! Why did he go to prison? You’ll have to listen in!

House of X Book Club Episode 37 - The Pod on Trial for TREASON against Homo Superior!
Welcome once again to the House of X Book Club We are going to take a peek at X-Men 61 and 62 in the antepenultimate episode about the first age of X!
First up, the saucy Sauron saga stops here, and rather abruptly! Much like his namesake, things don’t end well for our winged antagonist!
Then we travel once again to the Savage Land where a man with wavy WHITE HAIR (that will be important later) changes Angel’s clothes while he is unconscious. Not creepy at all!

House of X Book Club Episode 36 - Mekano Pods!

This week we are diving into two fantastic comics! First up is Doctor Strange 182. Like a cracked mirror of nonsense, this whole issue is Doctor Strange going the long way around to fill out a change of address form with the USPS. The Juggernaut shows up with all his undelivered mail, and chaos ensues! lower case ’c’ chaos, not ’C’haos. They have not shown up in any of our reading yet.
Next in the tube we have X-Men #60! This is it! We are in the final stretch! In this issue, the most dino-tastic villain in X-History shows up and does what X-Men villains do, repent and walk slowly into the forest. Wait, not this time! Something different happens!
