Mary Waweru is a global anti racism leader, she helps people to understand their role in participating in the oppressive systems, far beyond gender. A champion for Africa, she creates community to share dialogue, experiences of, and progression with African women for all of the people of Africa.

Amy and Mary discussed their roles and experiences, with a focus on addressing systemic issues and promoting cultural and spiritual inclusion. They also explored their differing approaches to combating racism, emphasizing the importance of understanding one's role in conversations and the need to focus on dismantling systems and attitudes rather than targeting individuals. The conversation concluded with a discussion on the importance of understanding and addressing systems of oppression, particularly in the context of gender and race, and the need for intersectionality and recognition of diverse experiences.
