    356. How Service Led To 6 Figures with Drew Coleman Films

    356. How Service Led To 6 Figures with Drew Coleman Films

Most wedding filmmakers don’t take the time to think about serving their clients or vendor network. In today’s episode we bring on Drew Coleman of Drew Coleman films to talk about how he went from starting his business, to now averaging over $7000 per wedding, all through having a humble heart, and serving.
Drew took the time to ‘get in the room’ with the right people, serve them well, and focus on them. All of the rest is history. Why? Because people want to be around others with a servant’s heart.
Join in on the conversation with Drew as he talks about how he has risen to Loverly’s Top Wedding Filmmakers to watch, and The Knot’s “One To Watch”

    354. Wedding Day Content Creators with Kenzie Sikes

    354. Wedding Day Content Creators with Kenzie Sikes

It seems over the past few months Content Creators are popping up all over the place and many wedding videographers are a little worried that their jobs are in jeopardy. We view the idea of content creation as a way to shift and grow your business, not as something that will take away from what we do.
In today's podcast John interviews Kenzie Sikes of Content by Kenzie. She is a wedding day content creator that has grown her instagram account to over 10K followers and travels all over doing something she loves. John asks her what it is like to be a creator, working with wedding other vendors and digs into how easily wedding videographers could start offing this service.

The BEST PODCAST!

The amount of information you get from this podcast is unreal! John and Nick break down each topic and hep you understand everything you need to know! Looking forward to getting to know them more in Mastermind this year!!

Used to be extremely helpful

First off, John and Nick do an incredible job of elevating the wedding film industry and educating and training other filmmakers. However, within the past 1-2 years this podcast has taken a more brand-centered tone. It feels like nearly every single podcast episode is trying to sell you on something they sell, whether it be their courses, Mastermind group, etc. Which is fine. I know John and Nick are ultimately trying to point people toward these paid methods of education, which I’m sure are beneficial, but if you’re looking for a podcast that will inform and educate, listen to the first 150 episodes or so and then move on.

Listen to the back Catalog First

Their first year or two was definitely the best and most helpful.
