Human Action: A Treatise on Economics
Human Action is Mises's great treatise on political economy. It is the most comprehensive, systematic, forthright, and powerful defense of the economics of liberty ever written. This audiobook is narrated by Jeff Riggenbach.
The Greatest Treatise on Economics Ever Written.

I kept hearing about Human Action as I investigated the Austrian School of Economics and their logical arguments that challenged mainstream ideology. Finally, after being convinced of their position and moral arguments for freedom, I took the plunge and started listening to Riggenbach's narration of Human Action. I was hooked. Awed by the magnificent prose of Mises' I still refer to this book when looking for answers to a plethora of Economics related questions. Unlike what you might read out there, this book is expertly translated partly by Mises' himself, and there are no signs of that "daunting Germanic prose" that some people bring up. The sentences are clear, and the logic is outstanding. If you like it, you'll probably end up buying the book anyway out of prestige. I have several copies, including the pocket edition that's only 10 bucks online. Listen to this, read it, learn it.
