Ohhhh man, that fertility pod hit HOME. After a D&C, my Husband - also named Dave (not my 1st marriage …& I came with a daughter) & I found out “surprise” I was in perimenopause & less than a year later FULL menopause…in my *MID-30’s* & not giving him a son was seemingly harder for me to cope with, than him. We too almost never talk/ed about it. The fact that this basic HEALTHCARE is up for not only debate but up for actual “election” is insane. Thank you for connecting your deep, personal experience for the people -to frame it in a real way.

Thank you Jenny for talking about things all woman deal with. Age didn’t bother me until I turned 60. I’ve always looked younger than my age (thank you mom for the good genes) but at 60 I started seeing things in the mirror that made me feel old. I, like most women, started to feel invisible. It bothers me because the outside doesn’t match how young I feel inside. I never thought I would even consider Botox etc but I find myself thinking about it now. Then I feel silly as I’m not 30 anymore. I’m trying to age gracefully but it’s tough in the world women face.
Excellent! HIP HIP HOORAY!

**Jennie! Just listening to the hip episode and can totally relate!!! I am 56 and had a hip replacement 2 years ago. I was also SHOCKED when I had this diagnosis, I thought it was a bad back! And yes, the x-ray photo of the new hip is quite interesting! I was a yoga fanatic for years and heard the click/clunking (like you!) and thought it was tight hip flexor. Two years out, I feel great! Been doing pilates and weight training = glute strength is so important. As I type this…my husband is one week out after hip replacement. He’s doing great! Thanks to Jennie/Kelly, my friends and I use this phrase often when describing a situation or someone who can’t decide what to do in a relationship. Thank you Jennie for starting this podcast! Looking forward to your future episodes 💓
Thanks Jennie!
