Good intro to major news stories, but The Ads…

I really enjoy the quick overview of major news stories, but the ads make it almost unbearable. The same ad plays on repeat after every story, often at a higher volume. When most episodes are under 2 minutes, you’re reaching for the volume control incessantly and can repeat from memory the plot of whatever movie is being advertised or how to make your writing better and faster. 😒
Also, with constant updates, you can end up hearing slight changes to the same story, but that kind of comes with the territory when you’re trying to keep up with what’s happening in the world.

Too many ads

Such a nuance to have ads on EVERY SINGLE PODCAST. Such an extreme disruption when trying to catch up. Major turn off. Plus they’re saved at different volumes so the news is quiet and then the ads come SCREAMING at you, often in foreign languages! More often than not ads are three times longer than the news stories themselves. Either get rid of the ads, or create an add-free subscription. And now, almost every day has 20-40 sports headlines that I just don’t care about. No reason to have that many sports updates every day.

Too many separate sports stories.

Sports used to be combined into one or two stories per day, but now every score is reported separately. It feels like there are as many sports stories as actual news stories. They should separate news and sports into different podcasts.
