A needed approach!!!

As a person in recovery myself from CPTSD, substance abuse, mental illness, and layers and layers of trauma, I went through decades of the “soft sell” and “hug them and wait until they find their feet” approach to my healing. While that was necessary at the VERY beginning when I was truly just a husk of myself, that need faded away quickly. As my desire to grow strengthened, I quickly outpaced those around me that were helping me.

For years, I ended up doing my healing on my own. Learning, trying, experimenting, and doing very well at it, And while that journey was necessary, it was a tad lonely, feeling I was the only one in the “get the F up” space. But that’s what I needed for me. And then maybe a couple of years ago I started listening to you, and you were a breath of fresh air. You tell it like it is, you provide the needed motivation to just do what needs to be done. You remind me that I’m not doing it for anyone else but me, and because of that the only hands and feet that can do it are the ones that are attached to me. And thank you for that.

In the last 18 months, finding you and VERY few other coaches like you, I’ve started helping others in a very specific space that I felt really needed that kind of honest motivation. Not at the very start - the very beginning is different. True therapy and stuff, I don’t do. But after, the self reliance part, that gets missed. I call it Recovery 2.0. That’s where I come in. And I honor your essence and your truth and your frankness. Because it’s so needed. And I thank you for it. There are so few out there that really tell it like it is. Truthfully, of all the coaches that I researched, there may be 3 or 4 that I found to be real. So, thank you for being one of them. I will continue to listen every day. And just thank you for being you.

I love this guy’s content!

I found Shaun on Instagram. I love how direct and honest he is. There are SO MANY other creators who sound the same when it comes to personal growth. It’s not just feel good, froo froo. This gets nitty gritty about habit change, confronts why you may not be willing to commit and how to get moving!!!
