Terry Stentz and Kelli Herstein, faculty from The Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction, talk about their work with the Department of Defense to make the process of transporting patients exposed to infectious diseases safer for the healthcare workers and other Air Force personnel on those missions.

In this episode of the Complete Engineering podcast, hear from Nebraska Engineering faculty and a group of dedicated seniors as they talk about valuable and challenging senior design capstone experiences undertaken this year.

These students’ projects, plus many more, will be on display at the Senior Design Showcase, the signature undergraduate design event for the College of Engineering. The showcase is Friday, April 26, 2019 (1-3:30 p.m.) in Memorial Stadium’s East Stadium Club Level and is open to the public.

The Durham School’s architectural engineering (AE) program has developed a unique relationship with the abundant local industry. Professor Clarence Waters shares how that relationship developed to make the Nebraska AE program a giant success.

In his 35 years with the U.S. Navy, where he rose to the rank of rear admiral, and now as federal business group president at HDR Inc., Doug McAneny learned the importance of networking. The 1978 civil engineering graduate returned to campus recently for Alumni Masters Week and sat down to discuss his career and to give advice to future engineers.
