We hear, frequently, that the global education system is broken, and as a result, we spend billions of dollar trying to fix it. But the K-12 system isn’t actually broken at all – it’s working exactly as it was designed, 100 years ago, and it’s obsolete.

So in Learning Unboxed, we will have a conversation about teaching, learning, and the future of work; we will reimagine, rethink, and redesign our educational system.

A new way of reframing education

I really enjoy this series of podcasts. I really appreciate that she is calling for reform and change in education - something most of us want - while also offering actionable advice. The perspectives of her varied guests are also very entertaining and enlightening. Annalies has a unique talent of getting right to the meat of the matter and coaxing an honest and intriguing answer out of her guest. I love that she does her research and knows where she's going, even if the guests and the audiences don't. The very essence of learning.

Learning Unboxed

I appreciate that Annalies Corbin does not undermine education, but offers a plethora of individuals who can lend their expertise as to WHY education needs to change and how it can change to better accomodate the current world. The podcast is a great example of relevant examples of how learning can be found in what a learner DOES rather than what a learner is told. The podcast also points out very clearly that learning does not end when one is out of school!!! A must listen for education and workforce ideas!!!
