Candor and insight from a fellow sinner on the pilgrim’s path
RC speaks about life as he has found it. Not excusing his failures but using them to reach more deeply into the pool of humanity, into the deep end that is often passed-over by others who seem to feel that they have ascended beyond sin’s grasp. As a fellow sinner, I draw encouragement from RC’s insights - to stay the course that Christ has set before me. That course is never easy, but I am needful of it. Making the journey with a fellow traveler is always more joyful than solitude along the way.
The one podcast I always listen to
Jesus Changes Everything is my absolute favorite podcast. RC Sproul Jr is a humble yet brilliant man with a wide variety of interests and he shares that variety in the podcast. Everything from literature to economics is discussed and analyzed from a consistently Biblical worldview. Occasionally, RC’s wife, Lisa, joins the show and deeply personal insights are shared. Although I’ve never met Dr. Sproul, thanks to this podcast I feel like I know him well and I have learned to think more broadly and more deeply by listening to this show.
Scary
Why does it seem like every time he has her as a guest speaker, she is threatening someone. They sound like they worship One Another, not Jesus. Full of lies and far from Godly people.
