    Woke Worship Pt. 2

    Woke Worship Pt. 2

A recent article in Christianity Today addressed some challenges pastors are encountering as they work to meet the felt needs of their multiethnic congregations. But should multiethnicity be a focus of the church's mission? Just how "woke" should a worship service be? Listen as Darrell and "Omaha" (Virgil) answer these and other questions in "Woke Worship: Part 2." More Multiracial Churches Led by Black, Hispanic Pastors - Christianity TodayThe Calling of the Church - Sermon by John MacArthur The Gospel Is Enough Conference - Faith Baptist Church, Bartlett, TN, February 7-8, 2020

    Superstitious Christianity

    Superstitious Christianity

Are you a superstitious Christian? Be honest. Do you know someone who is? In fact, what is a "superstitious Christian" anyway? In this final episode of the Just Thinking podcast for 2019, Darrell and "Omaha" (Virgil) discuss a practice that many people who profess to be Christian engage in every day--superstitions--and why such beliefs are antithetical to what it truly means to be a follower of Jesus Christ.

    The Grace of God

    The Grace of God

As the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays approach, the grace of God will be the focus of many pulpits and households around the world. But do we really understand what the grace of God is and means and why it is important that we, as Christians, thank God for His grace? Listen as Darrell and "Omaha" (Virgil) discuss what the Bible teaches doctrinally about the grace of God and why the church needs to recommit itself to take that doctrine more seriously than it does currently.

    Politics and the “Black Church”

    Politics and the “Black Church”

As Christians, to what degree should one's theology shape or influence his or her view of politics? In this episode of the Just Thinking podcast, Darrell and "Omaha" (Virgil) discuss that question in light of a comment made recently on social media by Bishop Paul S. Morton. Morton, a black man, urged black Christians who are considering supporting Democrat candidate Pete Buttigieg a biological male who is "married" to a biological male, for president in 2020, to stand on the biblical definition of marriage, and why Morton paid a price for making such a comment.

The Truth 1945 ,

Need More Episodes for 2020...🙏🏾 True Followers of Jesus Christ!!!

These guys are spot on! Seriously, most topics they cover people are afraid to discuss. I love how they first handle all material and terms by defining them...then brilliantly ensure their discussion firmly stands on the Word of God (The Holy Bible), even when these truths don’t align with popular opinion. Having a biblical worldview is so important, even more than ever. Please fellows, continue to stay faithful to God’s Word, in proclaiming the true gospel of Jesus Christ by being led by the Holy Spirit. I am a new listener, so I have a lot of episodes to catch-up to, in this past week, since listening, I have heard around 4 of them already. You are my true brothers in Christ!!!

Guilty of the same hermeneutical hypocrisy that they so easily condemn other of.

Tackling tough issues

I have watched the rise of “woke” evangelicalism with growing unease over the past several years. Sadly I’ve seen some friends taken in by the movement and the results have not been good. This podcast provides a thoughtful and solid critique of the “woke” movement, among other topics. I would highly recommend it.
