Humans have told stories since the beginning of time as a medium to connect and pass knowledge from one generation to the next. Robert and Michael aim to explore these stories with today’s leaders with real and raw conversation - getting rid of all the noise in today’s data driven, twitter-fed society. The art of storytelling has taken a back seat to 24 hour news, politicking and diminished attention spans. As we began to contemplate this shift, we developed The Climb – Cross Roads and Defining Moments – to capture the stories of today’s leaders. Each of our esteemed guests will bring their own unique set of circumstances they faced in their life to our podcast so that our listeners can hear the raw and unfiltered truth. Wonderful Podcast, Fantastic Storytellers
This is a wonderful podcast with some great guests who are fantastic storytellers. I specifically enjoyed the episode on the history of the King Ranch with Bob Kinnan, Building a Multi-Generational Business with CT Charlton, and The Power Behind Grief and Loss with Nancy Gale.
Michael does a great job bringing the story alive with key questions along the way as he guides the conversation. Highly recommend for a business leader or anyone who enjoys listening to a great storyteller in their element.
Authenticity
Podcast are best (IMO) when the interviewer(s) is genuinely interested in the guest and the subject matter. This show fits that bill. The host(s) are engaged, curious, and passionate about what they are doing.
Captivating
Michael & Robert elicit a genuine vulnerability from all their guests. A must for anyone looking to be transported, even momentarily, into an intimate conversation.
