Strange Air

Ten years ago, Malcolm Smith was the host of “Strange Air”, a successful radio show about the paranormal. One night, during a live broadcast, Malcolm vanished into thin air. To this day, no one knows what happened. Now his daughter, Chase Smith, is in her last year of film school and she’s making a documentary about her father’s disappearance.

Started listening to this show and from episode 1 all the way until the end I couldn’t turn it off. Really enjoyed it.

I stand by everything I said. I needed a fun rabbit hole to fall down to get my mind off of the news. After further reflection, I am not only sickened but disappointed. I agree with the commenters about the main character being unlikeable and almost written in a way to dig at feminism, which is just super disappointing. The themes and ideas are not thoroughly explored and are poorly executed. There is so much potential to make a very intriguing story that also is much longer. There's so much going on that the length of the series and episodes is too limiting. It is the “everything and the kitchen sink” method of writing. Also, the ending is still super gross. Like creepy and disturbing. It isn't a twist, it is just sick. It makes me question the character of the person who wrote it and the people who like the ending. It is disturbing, to say the least. I hope none of you have children. Just overall disappointing and sickening. There are some very problematic undercurrents and suggestions.

First season was REALLY good! Second season was hard to follow and the ending was rough. And kinda ruined the whole show.
WHAT WAS THAT ENDING
