Ep. 76 - Protests and Cons
Years from now, I wonder how people will misremember these campus protests. They'll tell themselves they were on the right side of history, even has they tut-tutted the students for their actions. "Well, that's not the the way that I would go about changing things." I think we like the drape our world in nuance so we can pretend that we didn't know better, or the answer wasn't clear. But it's crystal. The world is complicated, yes. This is not.
There were campus protests of Vietnam back in 1968. Steve Schafer was at the original Columbia University occupation. I've known Steve most my life. He worked with my father as a public defender. He also served in Vietnam. We talked about whether history repeats itself or just echoes at his farm out in the country. -

Ep. 73 - Geodudes w/Maxwell Cody
Isaac is joined by his dear friend, Maxwell Cody (@schizotopia/@neoyeoman) to talk about the merits of geoengineering. Is it techno-hubris that will destroy mankind? Or will we irreparably destroy earth's systems?
Be sure to subscribe to Maxwell's Substack for some gorgeous insight. -
Ep. 72 - Diddle Me This: The Puff Daddy Story w/Nathan J. Robinson (Jesus La Supa Jew)
Diddy, AKA P Diddy, AKA Puff Daddy, AKA Brother Love is in big trouble. There are 5 separate cases against the rap mogul. One of the allegations claims that if the victim did butt stuff with Diddy, then he could guarantee him a Grammy. It makes you wonder just how many celebrities have done sexual quid pro quos in exchange for their success.
Isaac is joined by hip hop experts Nathan J. Robinson (@jesuslasupajew) and Manny Rangel who talk Diddy to him. -
Ep. 71 - TikToKafka w/ James Rehwald & Samantha Quick
Finally--some bipartisan agreement in Congress. This month, our esteemed elected officials voted to "ban" the social media giant. But the ban would just force the private Chinese company that owns it to sell it to investors with ties to the Israeli government.
Isaac is joined by James Rehwald and Sam Quick to talk about the state of social media, dopamine and deplatforming.
Customer Reviews
Isaac is handsome both physically and mentally
But in all honesty Isaac is a very compassionate and honest voice that really makes me feel a bit more connected to humanity in a world that’s constantly trying to isolate me. We’re all looking for something, this points in some interesting directions worth checking out.
