Fan-favorite Tom Fowler (twitter.com/tombfowler) returns to update us on Britain’s undercover policing inquiry. Since 1968, the Special Demonstration Squad (SDS) and the National Public Order Intelligence Unit (NOPIU) targeted over one thousand political campaigns and activist groups, with undercover officers tasked with abusing and manipulating members of the public all in the name of undermining political participation.

You can check out more from Tom’s work at spycops.info, where he has been detailing the national inquiry into the SDS’ activities, the lives that were forever altered and details on just who these officers were and how they operated.

Bring on New Models

Just heard Liz on the New Models podcast from 2020. Would be really cool for you all to bring the them on to talk Crypto. I think that your listeners might like to hear their perspective and about their project channel dot xyz. I am sure they would adore Coindexter as well.

Brace is a tool

No one cares that you used to do drugs. Stop interrupting the show every time drugs are mentioned to make it all about you. Insufferable loser.

embarrassed to be podcasters

Longtime fan and I still am but they’ve developed a weird air of superiority and judgmental tone akin to that of bloated-headed teenagers. When the hosts respond to a single iota of mild criticism from listeners, the male host will reply, in complete earnest, “It’s actually insane of you to say something about someone you don’t know at all”

What! It’s “insane”??? what are you talking about? Lol. You’re willingly recording yourself doling out opinions and takes informed by your personal lives and uploading it to the internet twice a week . Lol. Sure, you can disagree with a criticism, but to say it’s insane that someone even has an opinion at all on the content you choose to post is very bizarre.

The hosts have become pretty intent on interacting with listeners with a ten-foot pole and it shows in a way that leaves a sour taste. It’s a shame because it detracts from the very good content that clearly takes a lot of work.
