I had written a whole long review that disappeared but tl;dr , season 5 is the most reasonable and least ideologically loaded, as are earlier seasons, in underhanded ways that the hosts ought to come clean about as far as their whole Chomsky and Chipmunks hymnal bias… a great effort of storytelling and audio production but you have to remind yourself that for all of its faults crimes and delayed self-sabotage, and for all of the raw deals here on the home front, American hegemony in the second half of the twentieth century was not only better than the other guys but actually good
