Wind in the Sails of a Weary Dad

As a stay-at-home tired dad of two kids under five, your candid content is relevant to the feelings, pressures, and stressors of being a dad. Listening in to your podcast, I feel less lonely in the exhaustion and more fulfilled by the adult conversation with fellow fathers. As a millennial dad at home, I sometimes feel out of place in an American culture that caters to moms and housewives; your perspective reaches a different audience. Please keep Podcasting with stories and insights on how to find meaning in the everyday grind, the long days of diapers, bottles, and housework blend together and I’m curious how to focus limited time and energy into making the most of the first five years of a child’s precious life. They’re only little once. You’ve said that it’s important to deal with one’s own past childhood traumas, this was helpful because my wife and I have been seeing a licensed therapist weekly to identify and resolve unhealed trauma and abuse from our own childhood so that we can change our family tree for the next generation. Next to a strong cup of black coffee, Tired Dad is wind in the the sails for the weary.
