Twi, or Akan, is a language of Ghana, West Africa, spoken by over 8 million people. The Asante Twi dialect represented in these podcast materials is spoken by almost 3 million people, mainly in the south central region of Ghana. This audio-only podcast is an archive of class sessions from the Emory SILS program (Structured Independent Language Study Program). Language Partner Joshua Osei used teaching materials from the Foreign Service Institute Language Courses website in the creation of this podcast. The FSI materials are in the Public Domain.
