Last Word On Spurs

This show gets me through a 45 minute commute. The last 18 months it has been my football therapy. It is a show for Spurs fans by Spurs fans. Ricky, Crackers, Lee, et al are all of us. We share in the agony of defeat (too many of late) and the joys of winning. Look forward to the post Europa Cup Final show when we lift silverware again. Keep up the great work. COYS! This show is like listening to an audio version of a twitter argument (where the hosts spend way to much time). A bunch of arm chair quarterbacks who think they know football better than people who have done it professionally their entire adult lives. They love to hate their club and the longest shows by far are the ones where the team loses because these hosts just love to revel in their misery and complain about everyone from the board to the kit man. Of course they follow every negative diatribe with “but I love the club” and “we all want them to succeed” but that’s not actually true because the moment the team stumbles they moan and complain endlessly. Honestly it’s a little pathetic. I know it’s a British thing to be constantly negative and nihilistic about everything but if you love Tottenham and don’t want to be drug down into negativity every week there are better shows.

This use to be the first pod I would listen. Patrick tyrant is unbearable to listen to. The intro is too long and found the content to be boring and mundane. Not sure how this pod has won any awards.
