    Victory in His Name

    Victory in His Name

This episode is only a reminder of the leverage that we have as children of God and how we have a guarantee of victory.

Our Guarantee for Victory over every unfavorable circumstances, conditions and life challenges is not predicated in our abilities or capabilities.

Instead we have an assurance of Victory only in his name.

When we try to take on giants by our strength we are bound to fail but when we throw his name at our giants and mountains, Mountains will be moved and giant would fall. For there is POWER in his name

That name is the name of JESUS!

    What IF

    What IF

Life happens to all of us and a long chain of disappointment, delay and failed expectations can create a huge mountain of doubts. Doubts if not properly managed can become the wedge that keeps us from moving forward. “What If moments” will create doubts or hope. What if moments are suppositional? It’s a gaze into the likely outcome of a move or a decision. Most times however these moments have given birth to more discouragement rather than hope, insecurity in place of confidence, pessimism rather than optimism and fear instead of faith. With doubt you see all the reason why it won’t work, why you can do it, why you don’t deserve it but Can we try and flip the flop and try hope? Hope sees possibility, and birth faith, faith always acts (hope never resigns to fate and quit trying). With hope perhaps those “what if” moments can be the fuel that gets us there in life. The Ultimate Gift

    The Ultimate Gift

The Christmas story has been told in many shades and filtered through many lenses.

Some echoed it for commercial and merchandise purposes, some other to assert their religious affiliations and yet others- out of the sheer ecstasy of the season.

Despite all of this attempts to adulterate and tweaks the original narrative, the story has remain undiluted and relevant today as it was over 2000 years ago.

The son of God came in the likeness of man that he may reconcile us back to our Father through his death and resurrections. He took upon himself the sinfulness of man and offered himself as an atonement for our Sins.

Christmas is only a chapter in the story of Man's redemption.

Everyone looks forward to Christmas: the commemoration of his first coming. it's time of love, of kindness ,sharing and jollification.

As we celebrate ,let us be reminded that his second coming is imminent . Are you looking forward to his second coming?

The King is coming. only this time for those who believe in him and accept him as their lord & savior .

Christmas is a story of God's love to humanity by the offering of his Son- an Unmatched gift ever given, will you embrace and accept this ultimate gift?

    Why We Pray

    Why We Pray

    What is Prayer:

Prayer is simply a conversation between a man & God. It is a practice that deepen your communion & devotion to God as a Christian. It is a 2-way communication. You speak and then you listen to God as he speaks to you. Key element of prayer like any other conversation is speaking and listening.

The purpose of prayer is not for you to have your way but for God to have his way.

Always remember, that if a man can pray, there is a God that will answer.

    ATTAINING MATURITY

    ATTAINING MATURITY

It is said that there are two major time-divide in a man’s life name:
    (a) Childhood
    (b) Adulthood

Both quadrants or time-divide are typified by certain character and attitudinal traits. Also, what is considered an acceptable behavior in each quadrant differs. There are things that you can get away with as a child that will be considered foolish in your adult years. Although there is a school of thought that makes a case for the Mid-life years and the teenage years, the latter is however considered a part of the childhood years.
And the former is a part of the adulting year.
The good book set a good premise for our discussion today. In the 13th chapter of the first book of saint Paul to the Corinthians and in the 11th verse, reads: “When I was a child, I talked like a child, understood like a child, thought like a child. But now that I have become a man, I have put an end to childish things”. ......
