I have been struggling how to authentically and sustainably engage in anti-racism work, both politically and personally... I was becoming frozen and frustrated, getting more and more hopeless because I couldn’t seem to figure out how “to do anti-racism work right”. April’s words have helped me understand why I respond in that way and see how/why I might be causing harm to myself and others because of that tendency. It has provided a path forward; a foundation for meaningful and actionable change. Thank you!

This therapist clearly does not understand the importance of ongoing content. She is very sparatic with her recordings. 4 episodes in 6.5 months time frame and nothing since 12/20? This does not go very far in terms of offering assistance or help to anyone.

April’s philosophies, framework and definitions for racism have deeply resonated with me. It feels like the first safe space that I have found to be able to examine my psychology and behaviors without having to ‘armor’ up to prepare for what might ensue on the battlefield of Antiracism work. I deeply want to understand and transform my racism thoughts and behaviors and I cannot thank April enough for her work in helping me to do this.
