#192 – Jennifer Beitel: Shaping the Next Generation for Christ

#192 – Jennifer Beitel: Shaping the Next Generation for Christ

The Bible says that we are to teach our children diligently the words God commands us. That is admittedly tricky when our culture is screaming at them to "live their truth" and essentially, be their own God.

So, in this episode, Andrew interviewed Jennifer Beitel who recently began a ministry called UNITED Next Gen with the goal of helping to provide clarity in cultural issues on a worldview level and to encourage intentional discipleship within the home.

After running parent book groups studying topics like biblical sexuality and biblical versus social justice, she enrolled in the Colson Fellows program in 2021 and became a commissioned Colson Fellow of the Colson Center for Christian Worldview in 2022, launching UNITED shortly after.

    In this episode:

    • A more accurate view of Christianity

    • Teaching our kids how to think

    • Tactical ways to start a parent book club

    • Greatest challenges for today's parents

    • Resources for parents and church leaders

#191 – Andrew Stroud: Becoming a Wise Master Builder

#191 – Andrew Stroud: Becoming a Wise Master Builder

1 Corinthians 3 tells us our work will be revealed, as tested by fire. If you've built with gold, silver, and precious stones, your work will survive through the fire. If you've built with wood and hay, your work will be destroyed, and you will experience loss.

In this episode, Andrew gives a talk where he breaks this passage down, and explains what this passage means, and why we as followers of Jesus should strive to become kingdom craftsmen.

    • God calls each of us

    • Joining the family business

So encouraging!

I’m so encouraged by and thankful for this podcast! They do such a good job at addressing ideas through the lens of the bible and it is so relevant to being a disciple of Jesus today and showing others how to do the same. I listen to it during my commute to work and it always encourages me and makes me so excited in all the ways that God is working in my life and the lives of those around me. He is surely producing fruit from this ministry!
