Welcome to Not Just About Copy. This introductory episode will give you a rundown of what you can expect by tuning in, a bit more about who I am and why I started this podcast.

I’m your host, Emma McMillan and I’m an educator, copywriter and copywriting coach. But this podcast is Not Just About Copy.

At its heart, this is a podcast all about connection. How we use words to connect with others, and the lasting impact words can have on us. 

It’s about empowering you to write better.
It’s about learning to love a blank page and its possibilities. 
It’s about finding joy in words and language. 

You’ll hear conversations that I hope will inspire you to reflect on your relationship with words and on how connection shows up for you.  In this podcast I’ll be alternating between two different kinds of episodes. Interview episodes will be a longer-form conversation with a special guest. Every second episode will be a shorter solo episode with me, peeling back the curtain on the copywriting process to teach you a valuable, practical, actionable tip you can implement right away. I’m super excited to share this journey with you.
