    A Metaphysical Career- and Mind-Changing Adventure with Charlie Golightly

    Charlie Golightly (they/them) is a person I've done a LOT of podcasts with, and this one might be my new favorite. We're talking about our current metaphysical explorations, spandakarika, career changing, mind changing, being brats about job searching, and learning tarot cards. It's a LOT. We just, covered a lot.     Opening the First Women's Sports Bar in San Francisco

    The first Women's sports bar, The Sports Bra, opened in Portland Oregon just a few years ago. Since then, a handful more have popped up in big cities around the U.S., but there isn't one in San Francisco...yet! I know someone who is working on that, though. She's a journalist turned User Experience (UX) researcher, who was sold the Stability Myth and has kept a job as well as one can in the media and tech industries from the early 2000s through this year of our lady 2024. She's an avid sports watcher and fan, and kept thinking about a Women's sports bar in San Francisco, just assuming someone else was thinking about it, too!  Here we are, talking about what is either the beginning or somewhere toward the middle of her process, who's to say! We talk about career choice regrets, transitions, fundraising, finding a location, and what her inspired her to actually try to do this pretty Big Thing.  We also talk about Board Game Enthusiasts.     A break up, a move, and a big life change with Molly Bremer

    Molly Bremer wanted to talk to about the grieving process of a big break up that also comes with a big (location) move. In her case, Vermont back to her lifelong home, Virginia (and the DC area). We talk about the break up, the moves, the personal realizations, and the processing of it all.  Molly had big ideas about finally leaving the DMV, moving to a new-to-her state, enjoying the wilderness and ski season that Vermont has to offer, and doing so with her now-ex partner (whom she met during the summer of 2020, an important detail!). Molly shares her story of realizing, in the gray Vermont stick season, that maybe this move, and this person, were not "it" for her.
