Brothers Jeff and Rocky discuss growing up in the 70's and 80's! They consider themselves "dazzlingly uncool." Make no mistake about it, they were both cool back in the day. But, nobody thinks middle-aged men are "cool." That's a young man's game. So, they strive to be the most "dazzling" versions of "uncool" that they can possibly be! In other words, the dad jokes will fly. They hope to provide some nostalgia for those who lived the Gen X upbringing with them, and also to provide some entertaining stories and advice (possibly questionable) to the generations that have come after them! Rocky and Jeff just know how to get it done
As a millennial, I developed a pessimistic mindset about those darn Gen Xers. I must admit after listening to this podcast; I have been proven wrong. The duo masterfully educates the audience about what life was like during the ‘70s and ’80s. They also have some great humor and good camaraderie. Would recommend for anyone looking for a fun twist of life as a Gen Xer. Bravo, Rocky, and Jeff!
Every episode takes me back
Most nostalgic thing I’ve listened to since Bowling For Soup’s 1985. Rocky, Jeff & the occasional guest have great report. It’s almost as if they’ve known each other their entire lives. 6 1/2 Stars.
