Everything is Awful - Shades of Blue
Peter Vermes spoke very openly about his team after a 4-1 loss to Seattle Sounders. We listen to audio and it seems quite clear he is referring to Ben Sweat who, on top of a red card, had another very poor performance.
Everywhere you look on the field in this match, SKC fell short. The attack was nonexistent outside of another lone, fortunate goal. The midfield was dominated. And the defense was embarrassing. SKC was simply going through the motions. Have you ever seen such sad crosses in your entire life?
Is Sporting KC the worst team in the league right now?
Even the most diehard fans are fed up. Wholesale changes are needed from top to bottom. What can the club do, right now, to show the fans that this is unacceptable? Our eyes are on the three big names: Jake Reid, Brian Bliss, and Peter Vermes.
Whether it's the gameday experience, fan engagement, or the product on the field, Sporting KC has fallen from the cutting edge and no longer set an example for MLS.

Informative KC Soccer Podcast
I tune in for the palpable chemistry, and heartwarming midwestern anecdotes. I find myself not thinking about the stories so much as I do about how it makes me feel… oh wait… that’s Ted Lasso…
I do tune in often for the most honest and informative information regarding the teams I unfortunately call my favorites.
Good podcast about a mediocre team… and a wall ball team, and that good team in a stadium down by the river.
Great podcast
Love the show, I think you guys offer some tough truths. Also just a heads up, you can indeed watch full match replays on apple. 1. Click on the game you want to watch, 2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen to where it says “how to watch”, 3. Click on that icon and select the whole game.
Not sure you all will want to watch any full game replays with the way this season is going but you do have an option.
Great SKC Podcast
This podcast provides some great insight into Sporting KC. The group does a great job combining tactical analysis, technical critique, and organizational knowledge with some fun banter. Over a couple bad seasons, listening has provided some much needed catharsis. I don’t always agree with their opinions, but that’s half the fun! Also love that they’ve been working in some KC Current podcasts.
