A light True Crime podcast with killer 90's references. Hosted by sisters Tori and Tyrella who get together bi-weekly to discuss a different case straight from the headlines or news feed. If you like to hear 90's lingo, FRIENDS quotes, and the occasional [perhaps frequent] curse word in your true crime stories, then this is the show for you. TTYL

Killer Queens

I had ran out of Crime Junkie podcasts to listen to. After trying out several other podcasts I found Killer Queens. I love them! I’m new to their podcasts and only about 23 in tootie three 😂. The girls are funny and tell great stories! I’m not ready to be caught up though bc I won’t have my podcasts to binge. Keep up the good work!

The same, but different.

I actually really love Tory and Turella(?). They are funny and have a great sense of humor. I love that it’s a podcast with banter - similar to Morbid - and not so scripted like some other podcasts; aka Crime Junkie. I think there is a time and place for different podcast personalities. You can tell the ladies do the podcast for fun/a hobby, and it’s not a “job”; which is okay. The stories are interesting, and while I have heard some of these true crime stories in other podcasts, I love to hear different takes on them. Overall I find myself really enjoying this podcast. However, like other reviews have mentioned, the mouth noises are almost unbearable. If you have a problem with mouth noises, sniffling, throat clearing, or ANYTHING of that nature; don’t listen. I’m not sure if they are talking too close to the microphone, or if it’s their equipment all together, but the noises are a bit aggravating to say the least. I want this to be constructive, and not just nitpicking, so my biggest recommendation would be to do the podcast in a soundproof room of sorts, not to talk so close to the microphone, and drink some water so it washes away saliva and just clears your throat.
