Welcome to 2022 - the future. Is it bright? Doubtful...but the jams keep things light and airy. Because you know what they say...ignorance is bliss. And that has never been more true than here on the Last Wave. This week, we've got more mahjong, more Lupin the Third, more billiards, and of course, X68000 visual novel representation.

If you celebrated Christmas over the weekend, I hope it was a memorable one. If you didn't, I hope the weekend was just as memorable. It was a very quiet, relaxing Christmas here on the coast, with no family, just a few friends and Mother Nature. But of course, the jams don't stop. They keep coming,

It's the week before Christmas so the hype is in the air and everywhere you go, Christmas music is playing. But on the Last Wave, we believe that smooth, non-Christmas video game music is the best way to go all year long. Whether it's from high school baseball games on the PS1, visual novels about sexy wives and sexy cruise ship attendees, customizing race tracks, or simulating a fish tank on your Sega Saturn. Plus, Wave Race 64, which surprisingly hasn't been played on the show yet.

The Best VGM Podcast on the Planet

Hammock hits all my T spots, from the hilarious commentary to the silky smooth VGM jams. I look forward to listening to this podcast every week, and the amount of deep cuts and hidden gems in Hammock's selections are incredible! Even my friends who don't like video game music can't help but jam out to the Last Wave on KVGM.

Pixel Beach Dreamy

Hammock touches on all the right vibes, seemingly not a stranger to eclectic sounds. The Last Wave is stimulating easy listening like working a long day outside on a beautiful high alpine lake, taking some moments of repite to enjoy the lapping water. Wholesome. I love the way Hammock blends fresh foreign jazz and hip hop tracks with 8 bit tunes that take me back to my childhood play throughs Donkey Kong Country on the SNES. The Last Wave is a good one to ride.
