Stuffed full in every way. We tend to over-consume without giving thanks. We are truly so blessed but still live with the fear of missing out or running out. Today we read Song of Song 2:14,15 and dive deep into how partner with the Lover of our souls to catch the troubling foxes that steal from our budding vineyard of love. The overfilling in our lives leaves hiding places for the foxes (unhealed wounds and unmet needs) to stay in our hearts. Stealing and ruining the fruit that is intended to grow. But how can we catch them? What does that look like? What is Gods proposal to us? “”What happiness comes to you when you feel your spiritual poverty! For yours is the realm of heaven’s kingdom. “What delight comes to you when you wait upon the Lord! For you will find what you long for. “What blessing comes to you when gentleness lives in you! For you will inherit the earth. “How enriched you are when you crave righteousness! For you will be satisfied. “How blessed you are when you demonstrate tender mercy! For tender mercy will be demonstrated to you. “What bliss you experience when your heart is pure! For then your eyes will open to see more and more of God. “How joyful you are when you make peace! For then you will be recognized as a true child of God. “How enriched you are when persecuted for doing what is right! For then you experience the realm of heaven’s kingdom. “How blessed you are when people insult and persecute you and speak all kinds of cruel lies about you because of your love for me! So leap for joy—since your heavenly reward is great. For you are being rejected the same way the prophets were before you.”

Hi friends, I woke up with my heart hurting for striving birthed out of wounds or lies we believe about ourselves. God impressed upon my heart to put this message out, to prepare the hearts of women to stand in the truth and purity of the Lords heart as they step and steward what they’ve been given walking into 2023. God has been so faithful, to show me His love and His compassion over the last few years in my own life. I used to be constantly in striving mode. Some would call it a “goal digger”. I was always preaching about forming new habits and routines, only to find myself going in and out, stumbling and struggling to sustain the “new formed habits” I was clinging to for a short lived period of time. We are so afraid to look weak, afraid to ask for help, afraid to need people to surround us. But God will go to to great lengths to reveal himself to us, through the struggles and short comings we face. To show us that all along he’s been trying to nudge us back into his arms and heal our broken hearts. “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

We were SO blessed by Kaylee Tomtan of @altogetherlovely_co to share all of the goodness that the Lord has given her to overflow onto womens hearts. She has the heart of a true shepherd and intentionality to guard the hearts entrusted to her.
